Andrew, their 23 year old son, graduated from Foundation High School in Milford in 2003 and Vista's Entrance Program in 2006 and resides in Westbrook. Andrew has a neurological impairment and intellectual disability and is an Outreach Member of Vista Vocational & Life Skills Center, Inc. where he participates in their day program and is presently seeking employment at a local daycare for dogs. Beth and her husband work for DCF at High Meadows in Hamden. She is a Special Education Teacher and Diagnostic Evaluator for USD II and has been a member of the school district's professional development committee for many years. Beth is also a member of CACLD, LDA, and CEC.

Schulz works part-time for Goodwin College Library and is retired from the State of Connecticut. Schulz has completed the Parent Assistor Training program through LDA (Learning Disabilities Association) and taken classes through CPAC. Schulz helped to start the parent support in Manchester several years ago.

For the last three years, she has been elected Secretary on the SAC, and she also represents the Council on the Board of Education Services for the Blind (BESB) Rehab Council. She lives in South Glastonbury with her husband, Paul and daughter Katie who has severe Cerebral Palsy. Brenda has been home schooling her daughter for five years and is the President and founder of CT Disabilities Connections, LLC.
